This walking boot lets you get around without crutches! It is a good alternative to casting if you have a stable fracture or ankle sprain. The sole has a rounded shape to reduce the impact of putting your heel down while walking, which encourages a more natural, stable gait. The foot section is wide enough to accommodate full dressing and padding. Extends the full length of the calf for maximum stability.

Grade 2 and 3 sprains
Stable fractures
Post-operative use
Trauma and rehab

Careful washing will prolong the life of the brace. Remove all stays before washing. Hand wash with a non-detergent washing solution, and air dry (away from the sun and heating vents). Do not put the brace in the washing machine or dryer.

I have a grade 3 ATFL sprain and my sports med doctor recommended a tall walking boot for a few weeks to stabilize/immobilize my ankle and encourage healing. This boot is not only lighter than the traditional grey air cast boot, it’s less noticeable due to it being all black. Dare I say, stylish? I’ve actually received compliments on it! It has enough grip that I’m confident even outside in the snow, and it’s snug and warm. It comes with extra padding you can add/remove to improve fit, if necessary. It’s been a lifesaver. Highly recommend!
