The Ortho Active Coolcel Wrist Lacer relieves pain from Carpal Tunnel, Tendinitis, Arthritis, and minor injuries by immobilizing the wrist and holding it in a neutral position. It is comfortable, sturdy, and easy to wear.

This brace features:

A lacing system that makes this brace easier to put on, adjust and take off than braces with regular straps.
Two metal stays (one on the palm side, one on the top side) that keep your wrist from moving. They are removable, can be bent to fit your hand, and they fit around the bones in your wrist for maximum comfort.
A design that allows full thumb and finger movement. The brace won't dig into your skin while typing, eating, etc.
Made with latex-free Coolcel material that is cooler and more breathable than Neoprene

Putting the Brace On

Remove the Velcro tab from the brace.
Pull the two edges of the brace apart to loosen the laces.
Pull the brace onto your hand/wrist like a sleeve, allowing your thumb to protrude through the hole as the brace slides over your hand.
Tighten the laces by pulling on the tab until the brace feels snug, then wrap the laces around the brace and reattach the tab.
You can also tighten the top and bottom straps independently. Before putting on the brace, separate the two tabs, tighten each tab and attach in the desired position.

Taking the Brace Off:

Remove the Velcro tab(s).
Slide the brace off your hand.
Reattach the tab(s). Store the brace this way to prevent the Velcro tabs from getting stuck to anything else while not in use.

Careful washing will prolong the life of the brace. Remove all stays before washing. Hand wash with a non-detergent washing solution, and air dry (away from the sun and heating vents). Do not put the brace in the washing machine or dryer.
