Mask Filters

We do not include filters with our masks, but they do have a pocket on the inside where you can insert a filter if you choose to. There have been numerous studies that show they provide an increase in protection. The Government of Canada recommends using an extra filter layer such as:

• A non-woven polypropylene fabric, which can be found as:
  • A craft fabric
  • The non-woven fabric that's used to make some reusable shopping bags
• A disposable filter/filter material (like a coffee filter or a disposable filter made for masks)
• A folded paper towel 

Filters made of non-woven filter fabrics can be washed multiple times.

Disposable filters should be changed daily or as directed by the manufacturer.
